Spotlight School of Dance is family-owned and operated since February 2009. Lori McNabb had a dream of owning a dance studio like her aunt that she grew up dancing for. After receiving her Master's Degree in Counseling and Administration, her dream was still there in her heart. She prayed that God either take the dream away or show her a sign that she was supposed to follow this dream. A week after that prayer, she received a phone call from an old colleague she hadn't heard from in years to let her know of a building his son had and remembered that she wanted a studio.. That phone call was the answer to her prayer and although that building did not work, she moved forward from there and never looked back. We offer classes for those looking for recreational dancing and just want to perform in a Christmas or Spring Recital to those who have that competitive edge and want to travel and compete to those that want to train to one day go on to college and dance or pursue professional dancing. Our instructors are highly trained and qualified so your dancer will be in the best hands. We invite you to read our instructor's biographies here on the website, look us up on YouTube to watch some of our dances and see if we are what you are looking for. We have a large Building with 3 dance rooms in Saint Albans and a large dance room with Marley floors in our Kanawha City Studio. We have dancers from all surrounding areas and welcome everyone to our dance family. We have been awarded "Best In the Valley" for the years of 2021, 2022 and 2023.
